Reminiscent of the ice house found in every town and hamlet before refrigeration became the norm. These would be used to store Ice for summer use and would be track side if there was a railroad or could even be near the lake or river where they cut the winter ice. This one is pattern after one that was on the DL&W in Northumberland ,PA.
